Immunogen was a peptide representing a region between residue 350 and 400 of human Gamma-interferon-inducible protein 16 (aka IFI16) using the numbering given in entry NP_001363516.1 (Gene ID 3428).
Additional Product Information
Gamma-interferon-inducible protein 16 (aka IFI16) is a member of the HIN-200 (hematopoietic interferon-inducible nuclear antigens with 200 amino acid repeats) family of cytokines. IFI16 contains domains involved in DNA binding, transcriptional regulation, and protein-protein interactions and localizes to the nucleoplasm and nucleoli. IFI16 interacts with p53 and retinoblastoma-1, modulates p53 function, and inhibits cell growth in the Ras/Raf signaling pathway. [taken from NCBI Entrez Gene (Gene ID: 3428)].
Alternate Names
gamma-interferon-inducible protein 16;Ifi-16;IFI16 beta isoform;IFNGIP1;interferon-gamma induced protein IFI 16;interferon-inducible myeloid differentiation transcriptional activator;PYHIN2
Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (A120-101P).
